Contemporary Mixed Media Framed Canvas Art from At the End of Uitkyk Street Collection

Made to order in Cape Town · Nationwide delivery

There are places we leave, and places that never leave us.

Where the Light Remains looks across the Franschhoek Valley in the final warmth of day, when the vineyards turn to gold and the mountains hold the last traces of pink evening light. At its heart lies Les Chênes—the farm of the artist’s childhood and the place she remembers as her own little Camelot: a world of beauty, freedom and seemingly endless afternoons.

Though childhood passes and landscapes change, part of the artist’s heart remains here, suspended in that quiet hour before dusk. This painting is both a portrait of Franschhoek and an ode to the places that continue to live within us long after we have left them.

Part of the At the End of Uitkyk Street collection.

The artwork is printed on premium canvas and custom framed to order in Cape Town. It is available in a Natural Obeche or Kiaat-Stained Obeche floating frame.
