What size are the artworks?

Our current collection is available in A0, a large statement size measuring 84.1 × 118.9 cm.

A0 artworks are available in both orientations:

• Portrait / Vertical: 84.1 cm wide × 118.9 cm high
• Landscape / Horizontal: 118.9 cm wide × 84.1 cm high

Selected artworks are also available in a 60 × 60 cm square format.

Additional sizes may be introduced in the future.

Are the artworks framed?

Yes. Our canvas artworks are presented in a slim floating timber frame, available in a choice of Natural Wood or Dark Stained Wood.

Are the artworks made to order?

Yes. Each artwork is individually produced and framed especially for you once your order has been placed.

How are the artworks created?

Republic of Venus artworks are created by South African artist and photographer Romy Maxime, using a combination of photography, mixed-media techniques and contemporary creative tools. Each piece is developed as an original artistic composition before being produced as a premium fine-art canvas print.

Do you offer custom artworks or sizes?

Yes. We welcome custom requests, including custom sizes, bespoke artworks and commissioned series for private and commercial spaces. If you have something particular in mind, please get in touch at studio@republicofvenus.co.za and tell us about your project.

Will the colours look exactly the same as they do on my screen?

We take great care to represent our artworks as accurately as possible. However, colours may vary slightly depending on your screen settings and the natural characteristics of the printing and framing process.

How long will my order take?

Each Republic of Venus artwork is made to order.

Please allow approximately 5–7 working days for printing and framing, followed by approximately 2–3 working days for delivery.

You will receive delivery or tracking information once your artwork has been dispatched.

Please note that these timeframes are estimates and may vary slightly during particularly busy periods or for custom orders.

Do you accept returns?

Because our artworks are made to order, we generally cannot accept returns or exchanges for change of mind. If your artwork arrives damaged, defective or incorrect, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can assist you.

Do you work with interior designers, hotels and other commercial projects?

Yes. We work with interior designers, hotels, restaurants, property developers and other hospitality and commercial spaces. For multiple artworks, larger projects or bespoke requirements, please visit our Trade & Hospitality page or contact studio@republicofvenus.co.za.
