Contemporary Coastal Wall Art from the Shoreline Reverie Collection

Made to order in Cape Town · Nationwide delivery

Held by the Tide is a contemporary coastal artwork capturing a solitary figure seated in the shallows, facing the open sea as the water gathers around her. Beneath towering clouds illuminated in coral and peach, she appears not overcome by the tide, but held by it—a quiet moment of surrender, belonging and trust in something larger than oneself.

Created through photography and mixed-media composition, this large South African wall artwork has a cinematic, painterly quality. Sea, sky and reflection seem to dissolve into one another, suspending the figure between earth and water, solitude and connection, stillness and change. Its luminous coastal palette and emotive presence make it a striking statement piece for a living room, bedroom, entrance hall or hospitality interior.

The artwork is printed on premium canvas and custom framed to order in Cape Town. It is available in a Natural Obeche or Kiaat-stained Obeche floating frame.
